Kerry life and Loves is an authentic and relatable travel and lifestyle blog written by me, Kerry Hawkins. I am passionate about affordable luxury travel, and love to explore both here in the UK, and overseas. My aim is to make sure I am squeezing as much as possible out of life, and I hope to inspire my readers to do the same.

Kerry life and loves is a blog to inspire experiences. I strive to always write engaging content on my travels and adventures, giving my readers inspiration and guidance for their next trip away. I absolutely love it when a reader messages me to tell me they have had a wonderful time following one of my recommendations!
Readers of Kerry Life and Loves tend to visit my blog for my honest reviews and travel destination inspiration. I have gained a loyal readership as I think people can relate to me. My husband and I are just a normal couple. We are trying to fill our memory banks with as many experiences as possible within our means! I feel honoured that I have a built a genuine trust and relationship with my readers. They have faith that my posts are written with my unwavering integrity at the forefront.
As an avid traveller for the last 30 years, I am lucky enough to have visited many parts of this beautiful world. I consider myself a seasoned traveler, with experience under my belt from hostels to luxury hotels. For the last few years, I have made a conscious effort to travel more sustainably, and will continue to strive to do so. I write a monthly column for Essex Life magazine on sustainability and eco issues, so travel that is more sustainable is very important to me. I want to show my readers that this does not however, mean that luxury and comfort has to be compromised.
My Audience
My readers tend to be mostly female, and enjoy affordable luxury travel. They are usually professional people, and range in age from mid twenties to late forties. Although Kerry Life and Loves has a global audience, almost 60% are UK based. They enjoy my honest and relatable approach to writing about travel and amazing experiences. They are usually seeking inspiration for both “staycations” and quick getaways. UK travel has become something I enjoy equally as much as going overseas, as I actively try to reduce my carbon footprint. We have loved discovering more of the UK. Although I give my readers the information needed to visit and enjoy the destinations I experience, I love to also transport the reader to the destination I’m talking about, with an engaging, story telling style of writing.

I was chosen and featured as one of the Travel Blogs of the Year for 2019, by the Travel Editor of Blogosphere Magazine. This was such an honour to be selected.
I write a monthly column for Essex Life magazine on sustainability and eco issues. The column was newly introduced for me, after the Editor read an article I had written. As looking after our planet is a huge passion of mine, I am thrilled to be given this opportunity.
I am an ambassador for World Animal Protection UK. My passion for helping to educate and spread awareness of the plight our wildlife face is limitless. I am part of their Team Animals ambassadorship, a role I am honoured to have been awarded.
