I thought I would do a short post about the current offer on at Marks and Spencer. Could be a nice addition to your Mothers Day gift?

I will confess, Iv never really explored the beauty department in M&S, as I usually love to browse Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury and the like, so tend to shop in Boots, John Lewis etc. I had read lots of good things about the brand Stila, (especially the beauty balm and liquid lip colours), and knew M&S stocked it, so went in to have a look. Wow. How have I not discovered their beauty section before? It was not only huge, but full of fabulous brands that I haven’t tried, as well as brands that I have tried but didn’t know they stocked (Neom, L’Occitane) and gorgeous, ready made beauty gifts put together for Mothers Day. I was also impressed to see that their beauty department supports a charity that  helps women and teenagers combat the visible side effects of cancer treatment.  I love ethical, give-something-back beauty. Warms my heart.

So, after I spent far to long browsing, (like a kid in a sweet shop), I picked up the Stila beauty balm I had gone in there for, which was priced at £26. When I went to pay the assistant asked if I knew about the beauty box offer currently on. You could get a beauty box complimentary, if you spent £30 in the beauty department. Of course, I was easily able to choose something else to make up the extra (I got a brush if your interested), so was handed the lovely, spring inspired box to bring home. It would even make a nice addition to a Mothers Day gift you may already have bought, if you were happy to part with it!

What I love about this box is that it is full of items I will actually use. I have subscribed to beauty boxes in the past, and lots of bits were just shoved in my “to try” box, and have never seen the light of day. Not so with this one. I am honestly looking forward to trying everything. Im also excited as it means I will get to try lots of new brands that I haven’t come across before. I love discovering new brands, (my wallet, not so thrilled).
