Li Lash lash serum – a review

February 28, 2017

The title says it all really! I purchased LiLash lash growth serum last August after lots of research on the internet. I was looking for a serum to not only recommend, but to lengthen my own lashes as, although not a bad length,  I wanted to see if I could get them fuller and more lash-licious! As much as I adore make up, Im also a massive advocate of no make up but a coat of mascara! Good lashes help that look.

The serum is applied daily, and you apply it as if you were applying eyeliner, so along the lash line, on the eyelid. For the purpose of this review, I took a photo of my lashes every 2 weeks, so I could monitor progress. Li Lash are so confident in their product that they offer a money back guarantee if you do not see improvements within 6 weeks! I loved that reassurance as the serum is not cheap. (You will be paying around £65)

LiLash reportably works by making the hair follicle “hang on” to the hair longer, hence giving you longer lashes. Makes sense to me. I did read some people reported a darkening of the eyelid slightly when using long term. I havent noticed this, but will definately update this post should that become the case. My research didnt name LiLash specificaly, just lash serums in general.

** Excuse the poor quality of the following photos. They were just taken on my phone as I didn’t own a camera! (pleased to say I have since been treated to one)

Now, I have to say that I am, at times, terribly lacking in patience. I thought that by coating the serum onto my lash line instead of the small amount that they advise, I would have Rapunzel lashes in no time. What actually happened, was that the skin along my lash line got a little dry. Lesson learnt. Do not do as I did haha

I felt that I started seeing a difference in my lashes after just 3 weeks. They appeared longer and, after 5 weeks, thicker too. In the last photo above, I was happy with how they were, so used the serum 3-4 times a week instead of daily.

I am really pleased with this serum, and feel it delivers on its claims. I am still using the serum 3-4 times a week, and my lashes still look long and lush. I’ll take that!

Id recommend it to anyone

I took a day course at the local photography shop, so I could understand the technical side a little, (very little, its still just words a lot of it), but it did help. I just need to practise loads. Thank you so much for stopping by, and your lovely comments xx
